The term 'horses in transit' is taken in this sense
to mean any type of horse or donkey which is not taking part in a form of
competition locally. They might be in some form of long distance transport and
need a break, or might be taking part in an orgaznised riding or driving treck.
There is no limit to the equinine activity that will be welcomed here and riders/drivers
(of both horse and horse transport) need a bed for the night just as much as a
horse needs a box.

There are many quiet side roads and unmetalled rights of way
in this area ideal for pony trecking, the tourist offices, libraries and on
small scale maps obtainable through good news agents. If you have difficulties
finding them we will be pleased to help.
Provisional booking, while you are working out routes etc.,
can be made without charge whether they are taken up later or not. We can also
be of service in perhaps clarifying some local conditions etc., for example, no
doubt you would not like to find yourself riding or driving through a local
carnival or whatever. If we can be of any help, please do not hesitate to
contact us.
